He leaned back down, propping the Hexclaw against the bed atop the leather strap binding Jayce’s left arm, pulling it just that hint tighter as he nuzzled his nose against Jayce’s temple, his lips against Jayce’s reddened ear. He paused there briefly, inhaling the scent of that familiar bergamot shampoo and letting it swim through his head like a powerful psychoactive drug.
