Summary
This is the third and final book in the short 'Two Minutes . . . and Counting' series, highlighting the days following Leo's untimely and tragic death (post Rise episode 'Donnie's Gifts').
Leo is left behind on earth in his invisible (to everybody else) mystic form to learn forgiveness, and to help his family heal from a death they each blame themselves (or someone else) for in one way or another. Only then can he unite with his gram-gram Hamato Atsuko and join her in the mystic realm.

Summary
The Invasion of New York was no laughing matter, especially not for the Earth Protection Force. What was laughable, however, was the way the EPF handled the Invasion of New York. In other words, they didn’t, so the fact that it had been stopped meant someone else did. Something else. Several somethings, in fact.
This was unacceptable, and Agent John Bishop intended to fix that.
“Sir, Vehicle 254 just reported spotting one of the creatures traveling by rooftop along 5th Avenue.”
“Do they still have eyes on it?”
“No, they lost it by West 26th Street.”
“Alert all other vehicles. If any of them catch sight of the creature, they are to report back to base, and an assault team will be released to their location. Were they able to identify which of the creatures it was?”
“I believe they said it was the one in the blue gear, sir. The one with the swords.”

Stan went pale and stifled a terrified gasp.
It would all end here, wouldn't it? Five years on his own, and nothing to show for it except whatever the morticians would find.
He'd need some kind of miracle to make it out of this one.
"Evening, gentlemen."

“It has been a long time since a sick little turtle has called for me,” Splinter murmured, stroking Blue’s forehead around the bandages. “Normally you are all ready to fight each other to the death to monopolize Red’s attention.”
It was only partly a joke. Leonardo gazed up at him, eyes glassy. It was hard to gauge how much of their conversation was sticking the landing and how much was somersaulting straight over his sluggish head.
Then Leonardo said, “He hates me.”
“Pardon?” Splinter said stupidly.
His son blinked, and finally fat tears rolled down his cheeks, soaking into bandages on one side, unchecked on the other.
“He hates me,” Blue insisted. “He’s right. It was my fault.”
