Summary
Sanemi Shinazugawa is a 21-year-old just trying to survive a futuristic city built to crush people like him. Between an underpaid security job and raising his little brother Genya on his own, he can barely manage to keep a roof over their heads.
When he finally lands a position at a powerful tech giant, one of the few chances he has to keep them afloat, his friend Shinobu calls in the favour he owes her. The favor? Break into the very company he just got hired by and steal something from the most dangerous man in the world of tech.
Sanemi isn’t sure what’s worse: throwing away the one job keeping him and Genya alive… or ignoring the truth Shinobu shows him. Because whatever this corporation is creating isn’t just technology.
