I’ve been reading @ltleflrt new fic Hunters Caress for a while now and it’s so fucking good and since I saw the cheesy cover for the romance novel the fic was based on I knew I HAD TO REMAKE IT. So this is basically it. I couldn’t find the exact font but I did get to spend like 3 hours looking up cheesy half shirtless cowboy stock photos so that was fun. I hope you all like it and if you haven’t read the fic I urge you to do it because it is so worth it.

Summary
In the years following his mother's death, Dean Winchester develops OCD as a way to cope with the loss. After more than a decade without a diagnosis, his symptoms grow more severe. And after the sudden death of John Winchester, Dean is left to cope by himself and Sam is forced to quit his undergrad in order to care for him. Ashamed of his shut-in life, and guilty that his little brother has become his caretaker, Dean seeks out therapy, and five years later, is holding down a full time job and can freely visit his favorite coffee shop to get a daily dose of Castiel, the (hot) hippie owner.
Sam Winchester would do anything for his brother, but he is more than thrilled to finally be returning to school, even if he is a 23 year-old sophomore. It also helps that a certain smart mouthed TA is helping him get back into the groove. Of course, getting a good read on Gabriel is just about as easy as advanced Chemistry, and he's not so great at that, either. As the semester goes on, he gets the distinct impression that his orderly life is about to get messy.
Chapter 04 now features art of Sam by my pal, Winchester-Reload! Brace yourself. It's incredible.

I wanted to title this fic "Trash." No, seriously. There is no reason for this fic to exist. It is a paradox. I don't know how it happened. I am filled with both pride and horror. It's a 100%, home-grown, chicken-fried inside joke. If you haven't read Feels Like Home, you probably won't get it. If you haven't read Burn Down the Sky, you probably won't get it. Hell, if you've read both ten times, you might not get it. I'm very sorry. It's a love story between an off road truck and a Bel Air convertible. I'm being pretty literal about that. It's basically JM Shepard and Ianto Shepard flirting and then fucking. It's set pre-BDtS and pre-FLH. Also pre-sanity. But that hardly matters. It shouldn't be here at all, but it is. It's crack on toast. Please enjoy. And if you abandon me afterwards, I understand. I support the smart decision. The timeline is somewhat different, and Kaidan's role has completely changed from FLH, but ltleflrt said she wanted a military doctor AU with JM, so I stole him to give her the goods. All of her settings and characters are used with permission.
