Summary
Sherlock Holmes would never understand why people could be interested in dull things like emotions and friends in a world which also contained microbes, cryptography, and the great mystery of internal organs. That final mystery, in fact, was what at handed him in the psychologist’s office for long dull tests and questions in the first place.
“Our son tortured a cat, and then tried to burn down the house,” Mrs. Holmes insists.
Sherlock sighs, muttering under his breath, “The cat was dead. It was necropsy, not torture, and the fire clearly got out of hand. How many times?”
Sherlock swears that he will do whatever he has to in order not to be the cause of his mother’s tears ever again. He will become someone else. Someone who is capable of friendships and whatever else normal people like.

Summary
Sherlock Holmes has been a dire critic of the romantic for as long as I have known him. For almost as long, I had first suspected and soon confirmed that beneath his veneer there slumbered secret affections, have ever since known his heart to be as grand and soft as his detection skills are precise. For going on three decades, I have been romantically involved with him, and thus might consider myself the authority on Holmes and the romance he contains in bounds.
On the matter I might declare: Sherlock Holmes claims he is no romantic. Evidence points to the contrary.

Summary
Sirius is a sleep demon who gives nightmares to humans. Remus is an insomniac with hallucinations.
Unstoppable force, meet Immovable object.
☽☽☽
“No!” Sirius smacked the plastic cup filled with stale cereal out of his punished human’s hand. He responded a touch more dramatically this time to Sirius’ sudden physical appearance, though it was mostly due to the fact that his food now covered the floor. “Eat some real food and go to sleep!” Sirius’ skin prickled with a thousand fiery needles—release, release, release.
“My Cheerios,” his punished human mumbled, eyes glued to the ground forlornly.
“How can you even be functioning on this little sleep?” Sirius’ voice pitched higher and higher as he spoke. He wondered if he was capable of yanking his fake human hair out.
