Chase is wounded at the building fire caused by Mayor Humdinger's fireworks in Adventure City. While recovering from his injury, he shall grow closer to both Skye and Marshall, as their friendship and Chase and Skye's love blossoms and develops. Chase will need to overcome his fear of heights, and of Adventure City, as Humdinger rises to terrorise both Adventure Bay and City! The team shall go under many traumas and difficult times together, only making them more tight-knit in their triumphs.
This work of mine, remastered. The aim is to have less filler, better writing, more details and slightly more sensible events. I also want to build a family history for Chase, and Skye's backstory will be more deeply explored.
The plan is to rewrite the actual important events, skip out on chapters that don't make sense and/or are filler, and include more of the first film's plot.

Summary
After the fireworks disaster caused by Mayor Humdinger in Adventure City, Chase has to get over the guilt of the death of an innocent civilian while recovering from his injuries, all while dealing with Mayor Humdinger's constant attempts to kill him. Soon after he has healed, he gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go out with his crush for a dance at Mayor Goodway's New Year's Ball. And after that? Well, I suppose they'll get to enjoy each other in peace… For the time being.
*Main difference between the canon story of the film is that Chase is wounded instead of getting hung by the parachute at the burning building. The building burns down, killing a civilian and wounding Chase, but at least he has Skye with him.*First chapter rewritten
*Marshall/Chase is brotherly/friendly, more focus later in story*Story will include the plot of the new film when it comes out, but will be edited to fit with the rest of the events of this story. The chapters then will take very heavy inspiration from scenes, dialogue and events, even some parts will likely be identical to what happens in the film.
