Summary
Crowley needed a drink. He also needed to disappear off the face of the earth, and for the pain to go away. Luckily, one of those things could accomplish the other two.
He remembered the squeak of his Bentley's tires, blurred vision due to the tears, and the pain. Overwhelming, infinite, all-consuming, reminding him of the time when his wings turned fire and everything burned, and Crowley fell.
There was ringing in his ears, and there were distant voices as well, coming closer, then,
'Mr. Crowley?', spoken in a worried, young voice.
He couldn't answer, everything felt so heavy. He blacked out.
