Summary
Buck has noticed lately, that Eddie is looking at him more often then not with a puzzled face, which Buck can't decipher the meaning to.
Especially, after the day of the skateboard incident at Christopher's school, after Eddie talked to Buck about said incident, which led Buck to talking about the baseball player with one hand or after today when Buck revealed the adapted skateboard for Christopher.
It's because, Eddie is starting to realize that, Buck is not only able to guide Christopher whitout limiting him and his independence but, also other children with disabilities easily.
When, Eddie asks Buck, how he always knows what do with children especially, those with disabilities.
Buck gives Eddie a picture to Eddie and his face becomes serious and sad - and reveals something about his past that he never told the firefam.

Summary
Buck is finally ready to tell Eddie how he really feels. He’s even prepared a speech. Unfortunately the bell keeps getting in their way. It’s like the universe is telling him not to say anything. So by the end of shift Buck is feeling less than confident. For better or for worse though his speech has somehow made its way into Eddie’s hands and he’s forced to tell the truth.

Summary
Eddie is maybe the world's greatest believer in the phrase "if it's not broken, don't fix it". He lives his life to a careful routine, safe in the knowledge that nothing has to change.
Until Buck starts bar tending over at the old dive on fourteenth street, and Eddie decides that maybe a little change is good. The problem? Buck gets under his skin and worms his way into Eddie's heart, and Eddie - well, he's never been good at leaving well enough alone.
