    Summary

Ethel Cain is the daughter of a small-town preacher, born into a life of control, silence, and expectation. Desperate to escape the suffocating grip of her religious upbringing and the ghosts of her family's past, she runs—searching for freedom, for herself, for love. Along the way, she meets Willoughby Tucker: sweet, quiet, and just as lost as she is. Their bond is instant, intense, and doomed. What begins as refuge slowly becomes a cage of its own, as Ethel spirals deeper into violence, addiction, and the shadows of her trauma. Left behind, Willoughby clings to memories of her—the way she laughed, the way she hurt, the way she disappeared. His love never fades, even as everything else does.

I loved Hayden's work since 2022, so I wanted to create a story\fanfic based on two of her albums, "Preacher's Daughter" (2022)and "Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You" (2025).
This is my recreation of the story of Ethel, every title is a song from the albums.
    Kind of short.

Some things are too alive to simply exist; they take you in, unravel you, and show you everything you've spent your life trying not to see.

    Or

"You fight like you're trying to destroy yourself."
    "Maybe I am."
"Then why keep getting back up?"
"Because every time I fall, I want someone to notice. And you did. You always do."

    Summary

"James." Regulus rasped. James leaned back and shook his head gently.

"Not this time, baby." He muttered quietly, raising his hand and tracing a path down the edge of Regulus' cheek, who shuddered subtly in response. "I told you I'd wait until you acknowledged you wanted to do it again."

"Can I?" Regulus burst out breathlessly "Can I indulge without being forced to face the consequences, without having to acknowledge what it..." Regulus trailed off, closing his eyes. When he reopened them, James shook his head softly, an alarmingly open expression of sympathy and fondness in his eyes.

"Not with this, sweetheart," James responded gently. "You'll just have to decide whether it's worth it."

James Potter is a cocky arrogant git who gets into people's business when no one wants him to
    Regulus hates him
He hates him but is the only one who can save him
Yet Regulus knows he can only keep him, or keep him safe. He only knows of one way he can ensure James Potter lives. And if it breaks his heart, so be it.

This fic will be split into two parts. The first set in Hogwarts, the second set outside of it, before and during the war.

    Summary

Regulus Black died at seventeen, or so everybody believed.

Five years later, he’s dragged back into the world and dropped into the corpse of Hogsmeade.

The war is over. Voldemort won. What remains is something worse than war: a regime fed by fear where magic is rationed, and former students are trapped in a nightmare that never ends.

Some are enemies. Some are almost friends. Some are lovers. But all of them are prisoners of the same brutal, blood-greased system.

This is not a story of war, but a study of its aftermath—of old grief buried beneath years of lies, of truths traded like coin, of love growing like weeds through the cracks of a fractured world.

In this new world, loyalties are tested, sanity is threadbare, but the rules are cruelly simple: kill, obey, or disappear.
