Castiel didn't say a word as Dean got out of bed and threw on his jacket. He just hovered like he always did, perched and waiting, and Dean made a face at him as he fixed his collar and went to fetch his boots by the door.
"No, and I would suggest you keep this between us," Cas said carefully.
Dean laughed. "Yeah, I bet you do."
Or, when Castiel raises Dean from Hell, his handprint bestows them with an accidental bond, and what starts as a decision to help Dean through his Hell nightmares, becomes an attachment neither of them is willing to break.

“No, I’m not.” Alex said. “Sit, watch the bird poop.”
“I’m resetting in time.” Alex said quickly, “yes, like Groundhog day. But it's not. That’s how I got the quiz perfectly. I’m resetting in time randomly and I can’t control it and it’s just like a movie script. You told me to tell you that you got a 77 on Mrs. Blackey’s test.”
Tom’s eyes grew, staring at Alex quietly with a bit of wonder. “You’re….resetting?”
“Yes. It’s- I’m going insane-.” -

Eddie came for him.
Even if it was his job and he had no way of knowing Buck was in the tree, it still felt like fate that Eddie was the one who rescued him.
“My, nigh’ in’ armour,” Buck slurs out. “‘Lways saven me.”
“I’d always save you, Buck,” Eddie whispers honestly, his hand coming up to cup the back of Buck’s neck and redirects his head so their eyes are meeting.
“Always.”
