Summary
Hugs weren’t something Bruce would say he was very good at. He’d not been much of a hugger since his parents… passed. Alfred was his butler first and foremost so he never really set down the roles of propriety unless it was absolutely necessary. He didn’t have many friends nor partners so he wasn’t all that experienced in the act.
Hugs were meant for scared children in the streets or severe injuries.
All this to say, he didn’t believe he gave very good hugs.
His children disagreed.

Summary
This year I'm doing a 100 words a day challenge and the Marauders keep showing up. Here are some short things I wrote. No beta readers so... I'm dyslexic so things will be misspelled and I'm sure the grammar will be weird.

Summary
Dick took a step back.
And then another one.
His hands came up— not defensively, not exactly, not in the way they came up in the field when there was something to defend against. This was something different. Scared. Something not trained, reaching further back than Bruce Wayne's training and the specific language of bodies that were weapons. Something that came from the animal part, the part that was not a superhero but just a person, and the animal part was doing something that Wally did not immediately have a name for.

The Other One Where the Justice League Almost Didn’t Figure Something Else Out by batsandthebirds

The thought occurred to Hal suddenly and with such force that he spat his coffee out as he pointed aggressively across the Justice League meeting table at Nightwing. “You! You know who Batman is!”
Nightwing, who had been idly tinkering with what looked like a new version of his escrima sticks, raised an eyebrow at Hal. “I should hope I know who Batman is. He is one of the founding members of the League. And my father. Are you feeling okay, Hal?”

Or, a lot of people asked for an identity reveal sequel to my Batfam meets the Justice League fic, so here it is. Plenty of sheneanigans and a touch of birdflash thrown in for more sheneanigans and my own amusment (and Barry's anguish).

Summary
The girl and magic staff were nowhere to be seen, instead a fine layer of blue, shimmering dust covered the ground. In the center, where Red Hood and Nightwing should have been, was what looked like a pile of yellow and black fabric until it started shifting and moving, revealing itself to be two human forms.
Tim stopped dead in his tracks, nearly slipping in the dust, causing Robin — who was apparently right behind him — to crash into his back.
Robin mumbled a few curse words directed at him, but stopped short when he saw what was in front of them.
It was two young boys, both with messy black hair, both covered in a fine layer of glittering blue dust, and both wearing the old Robin costume. It was Dick's design, the brighter one, closer in color to what the Flying Graysons had worn, and with a startling lack of pants. But it was the one that Jason had worn too.

Or, Dick and Jason get de-aged by some magic, assumptions are made, and those assumptions are very, very wrong.
