Anakin and Obi-Wan woke up weeks before the beginning of the Clone Wars with memories of the next seven years. While they still struggle to accept both what they’ve done and what was done to them, they’ve started on the road to healing and atonement.
Now, they begin to plan how to defeat Darth Sidious while reacclimatizing to their lives from before the war. There is still much personal trauma for them to work through as they try to deal with their past and prepare for their future. But, as long as they have each other, nothing is insurmountable.

They just lie there together and he soaks in Julian's body heat and feels, for a moment, that he is very, very lucky to have this. Even though it's not real. Even though, tomorrow, they will have another clean slate.
It is 25:59 and counting. Julian's fingers card through his hair.
"I love you," Garak says, before the clock ticks down.

The Doctor knew that Jamie was getting older and he was reliably informed that he looked his age. It showed on his face, people said, but the Doctor didn’t see it. He’d never been any good at judging human ages. To his eyes Jamie looked just the same as he always had. It was easy to pretend.
