Summary
— He doesn’t know how to explain it, how to find the words. He agreed to this, it seems unfair to be angry now, but there’s a want that rots in his stomach that he doesn’t know how to placate. He wants Rory, like this, in his car, and he wants her on Sunday mornings, and he wants to take her to prom, wants all of her and for the world to know. Maybe all of this is just masochistic, maybe this is all Ginsberg meant when he said, ‘the weight we carry is love,’ or when he said, ‘I want the love I was born for,’ because that’s just it. He wants all of her and wants to give her all of him. He doesn’t want to be a dirty secret or a tool to be thrown around, and here he is, doing all that she asks. Just to have a tiny piece of her. He holds it all in and knows her better than anyone else and still, thinks that this, all twisted and fragmented, has to be better than losing her.

Summary
As Rory deals with her third date with a Chilton prof, her 40-year-old life unfolds in quiet contradictions. Once secure in the routines of teaching at Chilton, raising 7-year-old Charlie, and the pride of two published books, she now finds herself enveloped in bittersweet, millennial nostalgia. Over the last few years, her once straightforward bond with Jess transformed into a complex tapestry of unsaid things and unexpected closeness. In Stars Hollow, every familiar face signals change (or stays the same), and Rory’s reflective journey questions whether the future holds genuine new beginnings or revisits memories of the past.
Set in 2025.

Summary
Set during Season 2’s Teach Me Tonight, this AU reimagines a key moment in Rory Gilmore’s life—the night she was meant to be tutoring Jess Mariano, the night that was supposed to end in a car accident.
Only… it doesn’t.
No crash. No hospital. Just a spring night that stretches longer than it should, a car ride that leads somewhere unexpected, and a quiet rebellion that begins to unfold.
Rory always thought she knew who she was: the responsible one, the good girl, the one who followed the plan. But as her connection with Jess deepens in ways she can’t quite name—or control—she starts to question the version of herself that Stars Hollow expects her to be.
Small choices that change everything, the ache of first desire, and the electric chaos of realizing that maybe being "good" was never the whole story.

Summary
"There's a prickle along her spine, an instinctive premonition of the unique trouble that is Jess Mariano hitting her just an instant before the provoking lilt of his voice changes the course of her entire evening." (Rory & Jess clear the air while steaming up the room, post original series, trash can revival does not exist)
