Summary
When Mick Davies flirts with Castiel, Dean’s jealousy boils over, hard and fast. He doesn’t want to admit what it means, but Castiel isn’t letting him run this time. Not when the answer’s been written across Dean’s face for years.
A sharp-tongued argument turns into something much rougher, hands on throats, words left unsaid, and Dean finally giving in to what he’s wanted all along.
Castiel is done waiting.

Summary
A few beats of silence pass, almost to the extent of worrying Dean that he’s been caught eavesdropping.
“Sam,” Castiel quietly starts, tone careful. “I’m not sure how to less boldly ask, but...is there any chance that Dean may have been avoiding short sleeves for other reasons?”.
Okay, now Dean is ready to intervene. Like, ASAP.
He plasters on a content grin and tries to pretend as if his very bones aren’t rattling from fear, marching in with an unexpectedly rough, “Mornin’,” as he makes his way into the kitchen—thoroughly interrupting Sam’s apprehensive, “What do you mean ‘other reasons’?”.
(TLDR: Castiel gets saved from the empty and comes back to an extremely depressed/grieving Dean. Jack, Sam, Eileen, and Cas do their best to figure life out together, and Dean gets help. Heavy deancas centric + recovery process from alc withdrawal & sh)

Summary
Dean Winchester walks out of state prison with nothing but the clothes on his back and the ghosts of every mistake he’s ever made. Living under his brother’s roof means rules, curfews, and constant supervision—measures meant to keep him steady, to keep him clean. But loneliness is a dangerous thing, and Dean’s restlessness eventually leads him to the last place he ever thought he’d go: a church.
That’s where he meets Castiel—quiet, widowed, and hiding behind walls no one dares to climb. Dean’s never been good at boundaries, and something in Castiel’s sadness calls to him like a prayer. What begins as hesitant conversation turns into lingering glances, then late-night confessions whispered in the dark.
Dean doesn’t know if Castiel is salvation or sin—only that being near him feels like breathing for the first time. And when friendship starts to blur into something far more dangerous, both men are forced to decide whether love born in brokenness can still be holy.
**
Loneliness brought him to the church. Desire made him stay. Love might just save him.

Summary
Cas is gone and he’s never coming back. The Empty said it would take him forever, and forever is endless, like the Cas-shaped hole in Dean’s life. There’s no getting him back. No way for him to hear those three words Dean never said. Dean knows this, the same way he knows that Cas’ death was his fault.
And then suddenly, forever isn’t as endless as he thought it was. And maybe— just maybe— he can get Cas back. -
