[He feels untethered, feverish, Eddie’s fingers a burning point on his skin, third degree burns. He doesn’t pull back, leaning in closer instead. Just a bit, the smallest of the movements, he craves the contact, always has, since he was four and begging his parents to look at him, it’s his oldest memory.
“Stay?” Eddie asks, and Buck feels it on his lips. “Just for tonight.”
“Yeah.” He breathes out in return. “Anything.” ]
