Summary
Alex passed Buck’s chart over and walked closer to the man - Eds? Edward? - and knew this opportunity would never come again. Alex did his best to look imposing and intimidating, then readied himself to speak, holding his hand out. “Hi. I’m Alexander Karev-Buckley.”
Eddie began shaking the man’s hand in a polite greeting. “Buckley?”
Alex nodded. “And you must be the man who’s been screwing my husband.”

Summary
Bobby was louder than Buck was used to and he knew this wasn’t going to end with him being big. "What I want to know is why this place is so filthy. Everywhere I look there’s evidence of you slacking off and being sloppy. What were you doing all day, huh?” With each insult Buck felt himself getting younger and younger. He knew somewhere in his adult mind that he needed to get a grip immediately and grow the fuck up, but he was already too far gone. “I bet you were sitting around texting your girl of the night, not even waiting to get off shift just like you did when you first got here. I can’t believe I went to bat for you after you slept around on the job, went to the department mandated therapist, and decided to sleep with her too during a session.”
“I’m disappointed. I expected better from you, Firefighter Buckley. I should have known I can’t trust you to do anything right after you filed that stupid goddamned lawsuit.” He spat Buck’s last name out like it was poison, too bitter to address even slightly casually. “You could’ve ruined all of our lives! You’re just a selfish! Fucking! Brat!” Bobby enunciated the last three words and out of sheer rage and hatred, punched a hole in the wall next to him. Buck broke.

Summary
Eddie leaned in to kiss Buck, slowly and yet all at once. It was a profoundly intimate moment as their lips met. Their love was gentle and kind, fierce and passionate. Unbreakable.
Neither of them had audibly said the words yet but it was quite obvious how they felt.
They held one another under the dark star-filled sky as their hearts filled with a sense of belonging, of being. They were home.

Summary
Buck nodded in agreeance and was planning on responding when Hen decided they all needed to get up and tip the dancers on stage. He gave into her begging and the team made their way towards the stage when his stomach dropped.
“Is… Is that stripper on her way over here? Are we that lucky tonight?” Hen murmured. The girl was getting closer in her five inch platforms and Chimney was the one who caught her target.
“Oh my god she’s walking to Buck. Dude, do you know a stripper? I don’t know why I asked that. You sleep with anything that moves so of course you do.” Buck chose to ignore the comment in favor of the ones that would inevitably come once they heard the two talking.

Summary
“Eddie!” Nash yells repeatedly. “Eddie! Eddie!”
Eddie feels himself turning bright red.
“Wow,” he says after his name is repeated a good half a dozen more times in a row. “You weren’t kidding, huh?”
“He’s been like this all day,” Maddie says with a grin on her face. She shifts Nash in her arms, pointing over at Eddie as she says, “Look who it is, sweetie. It’s Eddie!”
Nash frowns, looking confused. “Eddie?”
Maddie nods. “Yeah, that’s Eddie!”
“Eddie!” Nash yells, reaching for Buck. “Eddie!”

(When baby Nash's first word is “Eddie”, questions are raised as to how this could possibly have happened.)

Summary
Buck doesn’t have an emergency contact. Maddie's not here, and his parents have never cared. Connor? No go. Abby? He's known her a few weeks, so no.
Buck supposes that putting a random number wasn't a good idea. He had initially considered putting Bobby down but he didn’t want to be a nuisance. They’ve gotten closer, sure, Bobby calls him kid, Buck called him pops once, they went to a Springsteen concert together but Bobby’s his boss. So what did he do?
He just opened the Los Angeles phonebook he found at a phonebooth, opened it at a random page, put his finger at a random line, and put those random numbers down.
Enter: Eddie Diaz, Emergency Contact Extraordinaire
