He makes himself grin, wider than he ever has before, and laughs that laugh he knows and loathes so much. “What a wonderful era to be reawakened!” he crows. “So now, where are all of the– oh, screw it.” His shoulders fall with his grin and Yuuji waves sheepishly. “Hi, Megumi. I’m Yuuji from a future where Actual-Sukuna kills basically everyone. Wanna bother Gojo-sensei to get us some Kikufuku from Kikusuian?”

…Rough coughing follows, from the tickle of dust in the back of his throat to a dying curl of smoke and rubble forcing its way out past the high chambers of his lungs and his trachea.
The sensation of choking on everything and nothing at all causes Gojo to wonder if this is what really dying feels like; if this is how Getou felt that fateful day. He hopes however Getou’s organs ceased their functioning didn’t burn and chase after his breath like this.
AKA: Gojo Satoru, trapped in the Prison Realm, starts dreaming.

Yuuji gets up. He stumbles over to the bathroom. He pushes open the door.
It is then, he discovers, that the light switch is in the wrong place. It is then that he realizes that he’s wearing his childhood face. It’s Christmas, and today, defying fate and logic and everything good in the world, Itadori Yuuji is fifteen years old all over again.
Or: Shibuya ruins everyone, directly or not. In that world, there are no survivors. On the verge of death, someone stupid makes a promise, and the world gets turned on its pretty little head.
And: Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara find themselves fifteen years in the past. This changes nothing; that changes everything.

Summary
It's a horrible day when a clearly executed set up by the higher ups works so well. A simple case of investigating a cursed womb in a detention center had killed one of his students and was nearly successful in murdering the other two. However, something’s off about what happened. All three of his students are scarred like war veterans; One won’t talk about the incident, the other is missing an eye, and the other one is dead and missing a finger. No matter how he looks at it, Satoru knows that something’s not right.
Rotten cursed energy swells like a wave. The potency of it suffocates everything in the morgue.
They stare at the body, waiting for the outcome. It drags its body into a sitting position, then raises a pale hand to its face. Almost absently, it traces a finger at the corner of its mouth. The rotten cursed energy hangs stagnant in the air. Satoru is almost sure the body is missing Sukuna’s eye slits.
The body remains silent, so he’s unsure if the body is Yuji, or Sukuna.
The body then opens its mouth.
“Ah,” it rasps, “it seems that some scars do go soul deep.”
