Summary
The only thing Jiang Yanli felt when she awoke was confusion. She could've sworn she was dead and had been for a long time. So how was she here: alive and breathing? When she turned over, she saw that her husband had been resurrected as well and equally as confused. But three things were clear. One, they had to fulfill the request of the couple that resurrected them, two, the array they woke up on had Wei Wuxian written all over it or he at least would know what it was, and three, they must head to Lotus Pier and figure out why and how they had been brought back to life. There was no telling just how her little brother would react.

Jiang Cheng tried to dissuade his father. If he went on this business trip like he wanted him to, he’d have to fly to China and stay there for 1 1/2 years. He didn’t want to be away from Lan Huan that long. And plus the time difference between China and California would make it very difficult to call each other. They had just made their relationship official. How would being long distance affect their relationship? Would they have to break up for the year and a half? Would Lan Huan decide he no longer wanted to be in a relationship with him?
Nothing Jiang Cheng said would change his father’s mind. He would have to go and he would be leaving in a month. To top it off, he’d be busy with work and unable to meet up with Lan Huan leading up to it.

“I’m afraid where this is going.” Jin Ling interrupted, his face completely red.
“Shut up, princess. All I’m saying is, don’t you all want to be good when we have our first partners?” Jingyi asked. Zizhen and Lan Yuan looked at him guardedly trying to figure out what his plan was.

“Watch.” Nie Huaisang said with anticipation. And suddenly the lights cut off. Then a spotlight turned on and the curtains pulled back. In the center was the most gorgeous man Lan Huan had ever seen. All thoughts fled him as the man began walking down the stage, swaying his hips dramatically as he did. One side of his hair was pinned back with three, thick clips, exposing several piercings that traveled up his cartilage. His dress was extremely tight and when he bent down to grab money from the other side, it rose up to reveal that he was only wearing a thong, exposing his round cheeks. Lan Huan’s jaw dropped.
