It’s too much. Gyuvin wants him to stop talking. This is only their second session and already Ricky has opened him up and found every tiny little bit of darkness he’s been hoping would go away on its own for months, and he feels too exposed.
“I think it’s a bit too soon for you to make that assessment,” Gyuvin says, and they both know he’s not talking about his body.
“I think I would say that regardless,” Ricky responds, with a bit of an edge to it.

Gyuvin frowned, his eyes glued to the ink now sprawled across Ricky's pale skin. Just a tattoo? Gyuvin's world was imploding, but to Ricky it was just a tattoo. A permanent marking etched into the perfectly taut canvas, a completely new feature Gyuvin would have to commit to memory on something previously so familiar to him.
More than anything in the world, he wanted to ask if he could touch it, but that would be a weirdo thing to do, and, from the limited amount of knowledge he had, he was pretty sure that would not be good for a freshly done tattoo either. He refused to think beyond that and wonder if Ricky would let him do it, would let him touch his neck if he asked. That was dangerous territory.
