Summary
Working an early morning shift Ty Lee is doing rounds around the park and spots a figure dart out of the woods and collapse in the middle of the road. The car’s headlights catch that the person has claws, fangs, patchy fur-- a half-turned werewolf. And she’s wounded in the side. Ty Lee stalks up to her slowly, not one keen on leaving her there in the middle of the road before the park opens, even though the werewolf is keeping her distance and telling the ranger to get lost or else. Ty Lee decides to leave her until she sees the werewolf pass out. On a random morning Ty Lee has found out werewolves are real. Monsters, cryptids, and mythical creatures are real and in the park. Even though she’s kind of freaking out Ty Lee wants to learn more about this hidden world, on the condition that Ty Lee keep her secret she will let her in on monster hunting- and protecting monsters in the park.

Azula is fed up with her life in the city. Nobody seems to want to know her, they judge her based on her public breakdown from almost a decade ago when her dad was arrested for tax fraud, and she had nobody left to take care of her. While cleaning out her desk at work, she finds a key to a farmhouse along with a letter from her uncle who left to travel the world. Azula chooses herself and moves to Pelican Town.
It takes some getting used to, and Azula's basically the town recluse, but she slowly makes friends with the town carpenter and her fisherman boyfriend. After becoming their third wheel, the couple tells her that the fisherman's sister is a third wheel too! Azula thinks they'll get along great. Too bad the town's healer seems to hate her.
(Stardew Valley AU, but you don't need to know anything about the game to understand this. I deviate from the game's timeline a LOT.)
