“I’m in the mood for a woman, today.”
Link blinked, slow. “…I could be a woman,” he suggested, ready for the rejection received every time he dared suggest that ‘he’ wasn’t, entirely or at all.
"Can you?” Volga asked, eyes drawn, predator-sharp, to the other’s flinch. “Soft hips, a puffy little hole to drip all over me, titflesh begging to be played with?...”
A smirk stole over the dragon’s face then, just wide enough for fang to glint beneath. “Yes,” he purred, all satisfaction when Link jolted. “Now that I think about it, you'll do nicely.”
Having been stolen away from the War of Eras and enthusiastically made a dragon's prize, the former Hero of Time is forced to become Volga's princess as another impossible dream of freedom is realized under the Dragon Knight's claws.

However old Link was now, by any numbers that could count time and un-time and days that never passed, it must have been somewhere close to whatever age he’d been his first time around. The soldiers had stopped holding him at arms’ length and hissing at each other to shut up when he walked by; instead they nudged him into their gossip rings and passed cups into his hands, hooting and whistling appreciatively when he slammed the liquid back like every potion he’d ever gotten from an old hag. They talked about girls with him now the way they did each other, not holding back for the sake of “sensitive ears”; he’d never understood the big deal about girls past not wanting to catch cooties, but it was better to be included than left awkwardly on the fringes. And after so long trapped as a child-that-wasn’t, he was more than ready to drop the act, get someone to pierce his ears again, and get back to being treated like a grown-up.

The problem was, Other Link didn’t seem to think he was ready.

Link would just have to take down an enemy captain on his own to prove it.

(Young Link comes of age, again. Volga... helps.)

The Lost Woods confuse not just space, but time. This occasionally allows for out-of-sync meetings between heroes who would otherwise have no means of meeting each other... which both soothes and discomforts the Link sometimes known as the Hero of Twilight (though, given that all that fuss is over and done with now, he'd really prefer to think of himself as just a simple ranch hand).

At least he'll have a good time of it. (Time, for his part, is having too much fun teasing to merit the description.)

“Do it,” he said firmly. His knuckles turned white from how hard he was gripping the iron bars, “Fenik,” he said, and the iron tore apart in front of him, the shackles on his wrists shattered and fell to the ground.
The guard stumbled back, “Don’t come any closer or I’ll-”
Techno didn’t let him finish the thought, “Kh’ek.”
The guard’s body crumpled, his bones shattering out of his skin. Blood erupted from the guard, spraying all across the hallway and cell.
“Alright,” he said, turning around, “It’s over. You can open your-”
Tommy was staring at him with wide, very haunted, very open, eyes. A drop of blood from the spray rolled down his cheek, “What the fuck was that?” he choked out.

Captain America wakes up from the ice in 2013. The Winter Soldier wakes up in 2009, or rather defects from HYDRA, for a value of defect that’s closer to decimate. He ends up working for SHIELD. In April 2014, he’s assigned to Captain America’s mission as a sniper.

Steve’s just trying to get some kind of life together. Bucky is too, or at least he was until tall, blond and Captain shows up and starts just - being there, all the time. It’s terrible. It’s the worst. He has to do something about it.
