Cassian would not have appreciated the fact that K-2 had applied the label of ‘fragile’ to him, but it was a valid one -- and in more ways than almost every organic K-2 had ever met counted as fragile compared to him. Cassian was worth the extra effort, though, even if he wouldn't understand why that was.

Nai’o hates Reth. Reth didn’t have strong feelings about Nai’o, really. But after a steamy storeroom encounter, his opinion changes. For the worse.

Jack choked out his name—just a breath, no sound. But the tone… it was the same cute, confused voice that Phil had fallen in love with all those years ago.
Phil’s heart twisted painfully.
His hand twitched, aching to reach up and brush Jack’s hair, to whisper comfort into his ear. But he didn’t move. His eyes stayed locked on the others.
