They rarely spoke aside from official mining business and even that could be considered a stretch. She would approach with his letter, and he, the man of few words, would end up doing all of the talking. She would nod gratefully and then take her leave. Rarely saying more than a yes or no with a nod. After a few visits he’d learned a few of her expressions, she never said a word to him, but those had always spoken volumes.

One Majiri is particulary special to her, right from the beginning, but she has to prove herself in so many ways first, before Eshe lets her see behind all her walls eventually.
With the help of Chayne (who will become her shepp) Kaylee tries to make a difference in the lives of the villagers, but not everyone is open for her sometimes unconventional methods (she was a physiotherapist in her previous life and brings therapeutic massage to Kilima).Can Kaylee help Eshe improve the relationships with her detested husband and her rebellious daughter? Or is everything in vain in the end, because some damage done in the past is beyond repair and the trauma inflicted is just too deep?

When Robin appears in Kilima out of thin air, he decides Hassian is his friend, the hunter just doesn't know it yet. The two grow closer, and realize "friend" isn't the only thing they want to be. Also they both have some emotional issues to resolve, and it turns out they’re good for each other.
That's it, that's the plot.
As a man with a massive crush on this edgy hermit, I realized I wanted more stories about Hassian with a male player character, so I decided to do it myself. This is a little passion project I've been working on for months. Not much of a plot, more a series of vignettes and conversations focused on the two characters and their developing relationship, based on the in-game interactions. Slow burn (and by slow I mean I've written almost 300 pages so far and they don't start having feelings until about page 70) because I adore the in-game friendship arc.

STORY CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Reth finds himself torn between being hopelessly involved in turmoil of cartel matters (again) and escaping Ashura's suspicions he started expressing recently. His only real friend, after his sister, is also the only person he can turn to for help whenever his ass gets on fire (again). Lyudmila* is always ready to show up and do anything Reth is falling behind on, being eternally grateful for lending her a helping hand when she needed it the most – after sudden appearance in Killima. Safe and clean room to stay, warm meal every night, and a kind soul who finally understood her. How could she not repay such debt? One too many run errands though, may turn against them both eventually.
A friend in need is a friend indeed… or maybe someone closer? Maybe Reth's flirty personality isn't just a quirk anymore...
Essentially: drama and slow burn romance with a lot of hurt, angst but also fluff (especially oblivious), episodic exploration of meaningful side characters and their relationships with Reth and/or OC, and a lot of Palian lore sprinkled with my interpretations or resolutions of the plot.
