Chapter 1: Iidas Lectures

Chapter Text

Iidas Lectures

Either stop him or stop everything that you are doing. I recommend stopping him.

You would think that being the top hero for so long, he would be able to manage teaching a hero’s course class. But you would be wrong.

Toshinori sat as his desk fidgeting as he watched an angry Aizawa makes his way towards him. He knew he messed up in training today. He didn’t mean for young Iida to run into him, knocking him and other students down a set of stairs. Which may have caused a trip to Recovery Girl.
They were going up the stairs when young Iida was lecturing young Ashido to stop walking backwards and pay attention to where she was going. Iida was busy talking and didn’t notice that Toshinori stop to unlock the door to the viewing room and ran right into him. Which caused Toshina to fall backwards towards Iida, and Iida to fall into Ashido, and her falling onto Sero, Sero onto Kaminari and eventually all five of them landed on Mineta. No serious injuries, but a broken nose from Mineta, sprain wrist on Sero when he tried to catch himself, and finally a twisted ankle on Toshinori.

Toshinori took a deep breath and made eye contact with Aizawa as he reached him.

“Have you learned nothing about these kids?” Aizawa deadpanned.

“W-what?” He stuttered

“This could have been avoided if you knew them enough. You have to pick up on their quirks, not just their physical but their mannerisms also. It’ll keep you and the students safe.”

“I don’t see how that could have prevented anything,” Toshinori said bashfully, rubbing the back of his head.

Aizawa sighed, “Any time Iida goes on his rants either stop him or make sure he isn’t moving. He’s not very coordinated when he’s waving his arms and lecturing. If he gets really heated, he occasionally accidentally activates his quirk. An uncoordinated, quirk activated, Iida on stairs is not something that should be risked. So far we've been lucky in that he has only gotten that animated on the practice fields.”
Seeing the slightly exasperated look Aizawa was giving him, he quickly nods his head.

“I’ll do better next time.”

Aizawa shook his head, face pinched unhappily and then walked to his desk. He started rummaging around his desk until he pulled out a folder. Beckoning Toshinori over, “Here take this. Do not lose this, this is the only copy you will ever get.” He said handing the papers over when they were within reach.

“Does, um, do the other teachers have this?” He asked

“Only a couple of teachers. I only give them a folder if they ask. Since you are now going to focus more on teaching and be around the kids more,I'm going to give it to you. This folder contains almost everything you need to survive the class. I added more stuff to yours because you have no experience in teaching. Better read up.” Aizawa said getting up and then exiting the room.

He pulled the folder in his lap and opened it. Inside are stacks of paper, majority loose, some stapled together. Quickly just shuffling through the papers noticing how organized the folder actually was. It was sectioned by general, individual students, and had a teacher section. Sections and phrasings were bolded or high lighted for emphasis, but he expected nothing less from Eraser.
