Summary
Goro Akechi is seven when his reality is shattered by the suicide of his mother. He is twelve when he is fished out of foster care by the man he has resented for most of his life, his absentee sperm donor: Masayoshi Shido. Forced to awaken to the power of Persona by his abusive and power hungry sperm donor, Akechi's life takes a dark turn while under his custody. However, when a chance to escape presents itself, he manages to take it and not look back.
Fresh out of a Metaverse enforcer, Masayoshi Shido needs a new one. His search brings him to a small town called Inaba, site of the infamous ‘Inaba TV murders.’ Unfortunately, one Akira Kurusu, fated Trickster, crosses Shido’s path earlier than he should. As a result, he is thrust into the world of Persona with no guidance or hope.
How will Shido's two pawns react to each other when thrown into conflict? How will a version of Goro Akechi, driven by his desire to prevent others from being exploited in the same way he was, as well as the trappings of a revenge plot against Masayoshi Shido, choose to show society the justice of the Phantom Thieves?
The pieces are in position and the board is set. Now a question must needs be asked: shall we play a game?

When it's a year after Maruki's Palace, Ren's a third-year, Goro's a private investigator, and they're still completely in love with each other and oblivious as fuck. It's December and guess what? Ren thought of a brilliant plan to spend the holidays with his friends! As if Goro could tolerate those fools for more than half an hour. Obviously, the group is doing a Secret Santa and hanging out Christmas Eve and Day. And obviously, Goro objects and Ren has to put him in his place. And obviously, Futaba is rigging it so Goro and Ren are giving each other gifts. And obviously, Goro doesn't know what he's going to do with himself and Ren. And obviously, chaos ensures as, if you don't know, Goro hates Christmas and everything fun.

Akechi pov fic about an exhausted Joker accidentally letting slip that this isn’t his first time playing the game.
Every time Joker dies, he starts from the very beginning. He’s getting sloppy with exhaustion, and the best detective in Tokyo can’t help but be intrigued, even if it compromises his mission to get attached.
NOTE: I genuinely don’t know what name is right to use, so I’m going with Ren (sorry Akira fans)

Those were the last words the Phantom Thieves heard their leader say. It happened like a match striking. One minute, Ren Amamiya was grinning like the sun. The next... he slumped over onto Ryuji, the fight leaving him in record time. No one had time to react before it happened. No one had time to process what had happened before they were each waking up in their respective bedrooms at the beginning of the year.
So what is a group of time traveling teenagers to do when they learn they've been given a do-over? The only natural thing, after all.
