Shirakumo doesn’t seem surprised by it, but Izuku whips his hand back when the intense chill climbs up his arm.

    Shinsou knew this, he knew that even though his sensei was one of the most logical humans he had ever met, Shinsou was anything but logical.

    He chose to try to be a hero, even with a villain's quirk (a non-flashy villain's quirk, which is a low blow coming from God)

    He chose not to make any allies in his future class.

    He chose to hope and he chose to fight for his place in the Hero course.

    He chose to ignore Midoriya.

    Out of every single non-logical decision of his life, only a few worked out in a good way, and usually, they only worked because he fought tooth and nail for them to do so. Because although not every good decision needs to have a logic behind it, most of them involve at least a little bit of critical thinking, a bit of logic.

    So when he goes to check Midoriya's room just because of a bad feeling, the last thing he expected to see was that the room was empty

    With a suicide note on its desk.
