Summary
Drive and passion doesn’t make up for a lack of quirk. The world keeps spinning, and Izuku keeps feeling too much — so much so, that he can’t help himself when he sees Bakugou in a mess that Izuku himself created. His body moves on his own, and it’s no surprise when he emerges as a limp, lifeless corpse.
However, death seems to pity him. It gifts him a second chance, and grants him a unique power along with it. It surely cannot be called a quirk — but whatever it is, it promises to guide him to become a true hero, and Izuku cannot bring himself to decline.

The whirlpool swirls, a final burst of static, and then implodes into a single point, black hole condensed. The ottomans stop floating, the desks stop vibrating, and everything sinks back down towards the vomit-coloured floor.
Bakugo Katsuki stands in front of them, eyes wide. His skin is painted with raised skin, eyes sallow. His mouth parts, and he blinks very quickly, in rapid succession. His hands curl and uncurl into fists.“Well,” he says. “That’s not fucking ideal.”
And then collapses onto said vomit-coloured floor.
[Or, due to time travel shenanigans, Bakugo Katsuki (2nd Year) meets Bakugo Katsuki (1st Year). Everyone has many questions, but- where did he get those brutal scars from? And why is he acting so...normal?]

Even now, at 21 years old, his only friend is a reckless cat, who has 9 million lives and uses all of them. Well – with the upload of his most recent video, things quickly change. After trying (and failing) to rule TreasureMine’s leaderboard, he makes a bet with the current defending champion LetSapling. Whoever is on top in 3 weeks, wins. A lot can happen in just three weeks: mainly plenty of flirting– But with his history, quirk, and the giant muzzle scars disfiguring his face, Hitoshi’s way too scared to ever let anyone close.
Little does he know, LetSapling – or also Izuku Midoriya, who secretly posts ASMR on a channel named Tinglyzu – also has lots of similar issues. Life isn’t easy when you’re a quirkless ambulatory wheelchair user.

The Mha storyline takes place~8000 years in the future(so basically in the year 10,000). The common person now knows almost nothing about the distant past, as the HPSC and government have covered up any history pre-dating the dawn of quirks(in fact, most of their known history only dates back about 2000 years(the first quirks appeared 5500 years before the storyline )) this is because the government wants to cover up a majority of what happened during and directly after the quirk wars.
Technology and the sciences have largely stagnated and in some cases regressed. This is due to most of the government-funded research being funneled into quirk research. Due to this lack of funding the sciences, the average person is less intelligent than in the pre quirk era. This could also be due to the fact that people with quirks brain capacity has actually shrunk to make room for their quirk.
The most common answer when asked about the pre-quirk era is that it was “primitive”. Hypocrites.
This is a time travel fic to the pre-quirk era featuring class 1-A.

(AU as follows: takes place in Tokyo, Izuku and Katsuki are both highschoolers attending UA with all the same classmates from MHA. “It’s not safe up on the rooftops. Go home.” Eraserhead says. He worries, every time. Shouto has learnt to sit down before he gets there, so that he doesn’t look like he’s about to jump. But a kid sitting alone on a rooftop still isn’t normal. Not that Shouto ever was.

Shouto makes a deal with the devil, to escape from the future his father had mapped out for him. It doesn’t take long for him to realise that being forgotten by everyone is not a blessing, but a curse.
