“What are you…” Jonathan swallowed audibly, “I-I don’t…get away from me.” He moved a hand up but Billy was faster. He snagged the slender wrist, pushing the pale hand down onto the pillow roughly.
“Answer me,” Billy ducked his head, his nose just barely brushing against Jonathan’s, “Do you just like the idea of being fucked hard by any cock? I think you know by now that Harrington won’t ever give you what you want…” he smiled a bit, his lips ghosting over Jonathan’s, “Let me be the one to do it.”

Those warm hands were on him again. One of them slid up the back of his neck, pulling his head down gently, while the other settled over his chest. Steve inhaled quickly, feeling that palm graze over his nipple, and he opened his eyes, staring down at Jonathan.
Jonathan stared back up at him, frowning, “Don’t talk that way,” he murmured, “You’re better than that,” he arched up, gently pressed the tip of his nose against Steve’s.
“You could be dead,” Steve stressed, gritting his teeth, “I could be dead. We would have left this world, Jonathan. I would have gone out without…without telling you how much I-” he sighed heavily, forehead dropping against the shorter male. His own palm landed over the hand Jonathan had over his chest and he moved them so that they settled over his beating heart.

Geoffrey didn’t fear the ekon’s bite when Jonathan slipped through the open window in the shape of the small brown bat. He shed the disguise in waves of shadows, now more easily in his control as he stalked in his alabaster visage towards Geoffrey’s seat. The hunter set aside the reports he had been pouring over for the last hour, turning his chair to admire the view.
With only the candles lit around the room, offering an orangish tint to the scene as Jonathan dropped to kneel at the hunter’s feet. Geoffrey’s lips drew back into a satisfied smile as the doctor resumed what had recently become their routine in the off hours when they weren’t out killing leeches and saving a city from an impending Disaster.
