Neither she, nor her husband Fester understood his desire to stay in that city, but they respected his wish and so Terry, Nora and Steven Harringtons stayed in Hawkins. The richest family in Hawkins had to travel for work a lot and so young Steven was staying there all alone. At least that's the explanation the Addams gave whenever they needed to be more... Addams.

In a few short months, a lot can change, and Hawkins is no exception. Between the Snow Ball of 1984 to the summer break of 1985, our beloved characters find themselves in a lot of wacky, unpredictable situations. Each chapter is its own one-shot story, in chronological order starting from the end of 1984 (and yes, each has a song title as its name, given that its meant to be a "mixtape" of sorts). Each is cheesy, fun, and meant to serve some kind of purpose for at least one character, whether it be explaining canon traits or just to perpetuate certain themes seen in the connected seasons. From trying to break arcade record-high scores to unrequited love, the concept of a certain, unnamed spin-off is redone in “Stranger Things: Remix of ‘85.”
