Summary
This is a story about Invisigal's early steps as a full hero after the ending of Dispatch season 1. There is action, there are emotional moments, there is some romance, but the main point of the story is Invisigal and how she manages the transition from a phoenix to a hero.
Side note: There are original characters, and chapter 10 is very emotional.
Side note 2: This is a work in progress, don't know how long the story will be, but it doesn't end with chapter 10.
Side note 3: The characters don't behave the same way they did during season 1. I want them to show change, other emotions and reactions that we didn't see during the game's story, in particular with Visi.
Side note 4: First time writing a fanfic, so any feedback will be appreciated. -

This is a rewrite of Mass Effect 2. In my first fic, Veni, I introduced several new original characters and put a twist on multiple storylines. Reading Veni first isn't necessary per se, but I do still reccomend it to provide background context. I have done my best to put my own spin on things, expanding minor characters and plot lines.

"Oh, you can't hear him?" Silas puffed in near amusement, gloved fingers moving somewhere below the screen, "Here, let me turn up the volume on my side of things."
That was the last word he spoke before the portable scanner's speakers involuntarily increased, and two different spark-wrenching sounds came through. The first was a grinding buzz of overlapping drills and saws, screeching against metal alloys. The second was still a screech, but produced from a vocalizer. The sound was raw and agonizing - screams broken by choked sobs and glitched mechanics.
