Summary

Rumi is a prodigy PHD student who wants to study the biology of Pandora, a planet far from her dying planet. She hopes the planet has the key to solving the climate crisis. If she is diligent and careful, she might be able to accomplish it, as long as she doesn't interact with the natives. They don't know about humans yet.
Zoey (friendly name for Zokeri) is very familiar with humans. They destroyed her ancestral home and killed her tribe's chief. The remnants of her tribe all have to seek refuge with a section of the ash tribe on the far coast. Though they are accepted, cultural differences keep her world unstable and it doesn't help that she has a crush on the Chief's daughter.
Mira (friendly name for Mirkatkaina) hates her new home, its cold, its noisy, it smells like fish and she has to mix in with the sea Metkayina and deal with all their issues on top of her own clan's. Like the one main ash clan, her father is tempted to ally themselves with the starpeople, though that would cause an uproar. It would especially upset the traumatized cute girl she really wants to mate with.
Jinu the horse was bred for one thing. War. He can't have war though, so he chooses all other forms of chaos.

"Hey, buddy," She said. She got up off of her bed and walked over to meet him. He purred loudly and rubbed up against her. Sussie flew in too. "What are you guys doing...?" She asked. They rarely were in the same room as her at the same time. As if in response, Derpy opened his mouth and out dropped a 'Hello Friend' card.
Only one person sent her those cards.
'But it couldn't be him,' Rumi thought. She skipped to the sign-off.

Ah, Halloween.
The best day of the year, by far, and Huntrix would take no arguments on that.
As idols, Christmas was always way too busy for them, with all the shows and fan appearances and end-of-year celebrations chaos for them to ever actually enjoy it, all other holidays held a similar workload or were simply not as fun. but Halloween, was the bomb.
Workload went down, demon ass kicking went up, and they were always able to end the night in cozy onesies with Zoey's favorite horror movies and a giant bowl of candy.
But this year? Well they were less kicking demon ass and more like barely managing to tolerate it.
