The instant Eddie signaled the cue, Buck hesitated for a split second before stepping forward awkwardly with his left foot. Panic washed over him, and in a frantic attempt to recover, he quickened his pace, which only led him to misstep again—this time landing right on Eddie’s toes.
“Shit! Sorry!” Buck winced, stumbling backward. “Oh my god, I told you I was a danger to society.”
Eddie didn’t even flinch. He just calmly steadied Buck by the shoulders, fingers warm through the fabric of his hoodie. “You’re fine. My toes are basically made of steel. Let’s just try again, but slower this time.”
Buck nodded, cheeks burning. Not just from the embarrassment, but also from how close Eddie was. No one told him ballroom dancing involved this much touching. Or eye contact. Or the quiet way someone could say “you’re fine” and make your heart forget how to beat correctly.
He shook off the feeling, thinking that it was the atmosphere making him feel this way, or that he was just imagining Eddie as Taylor.
Yup. That’s all there is. Nothing weird is happening here.

Dazai was never one to go to bars to celebrate a mission well-done, unless if he was with Odasaku and Ango, actually, he didn’t go to bars much at all. But yet here he is, in a cheap sketchy bar in a sketchy neighbourhood, with his annoying ginger partner, celebrating a job well-done.
The strangest thing about this, though, is that it wasn’t even Chuuya that suggested this. It was Dazai. What was even more surprising, though, was that Chuuya went along with it, barely putting up a fight.
(TLDR: Chuuya and Dazai go to a bar and get drunk. Chuuya proposes to him and Dazai agrees.)

His voice is even rougher than usual, he coughs to try and clear it as he heads for his personal bar, not waiting for an answer. He needs one, Angel be damned. Husk gets behind the bar and pulls out a rocks glass, pouring himself a double of the strongest liquor he’s got. It’s not tasty, but that’s not what he’s aiming for right now. The glass has just reached his lips when something white floods his peripheral vision and he glances over as Angel Dust leans over the bartop, his chest heaving out of his silky pink gown.
