Beautiful story: loved it!
In which wkx returns to ghost valley after Four Seasons Manor, drinks water of oblivion and forgets all about zzs. Zzs, a year later, is halfway dead when he runs into wkx and gu xiang in an inn where a murder has taken place. Wkx is strangely attracted and trusting of this man he's 'never met' and hires him to come back to ghost valley to figure out who's trying to kill him. (And pretend to be his concubine, as a "cover", lol.)
Against this backdrop of danger, intrigue and zzs slowly dying - they fall in love all over again. At least, wkx does. Zzs has been in love all along.
