Summary
When Phil made the decision to go undercover in a terrorist organization for what was likely to be years, he knew he would have to do things he would never forgive himself for. If that's what it takes to make the world a safer place for people everywhere, for his children, then he would do it.
Then he meets the organization's weapon, The Blade: a trained assassin, a perfectly loyal tool, a killer that never blinks. And he's just an innocent boy. One that Phil can't save while keeping his cover.
Phil chooses to save the world, and has to deal with the aftermath every day for the rest of his life. And the rest of the life of the boy he helped break.

Summary
No one ever promised Technoblade safety before.
Plenty of people have offered him plenty of things, but they were always presented as deals. Techno gives himself to them in exchange for something: renown, his life, an escape route off a dying planet. It all seems the same after enough time, and this latest server is no different. The revolution that was supposed to come of it never did.
Techno is tired and done with it all. Frankly, he doesn't even care if there's an age minimum for retiring. If he wants safety, he obviously has to make it for himself.

Two months ago, Technoblade lost his memories. Not ideal for a superhero, but the job is a dangerous one. He's coping about as well as one would expect. Well, aside from having to deal with three supervillains who can't seem to act in expected ways around him, confusing as that is.
For Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy, the world changed when they thought Techno died. And then again, when it turns out he didn't. And they want - need - him back more than they have ever needed anything else.

Summary
Genetics with hybrids are always a bit wacky. The fact that Techno doesn't look like his family isn't unheard of. But that doesn't mean that the sucking void in his chest every time he sees the lack of wings on his back is any easier.
That's fine, because there's another strange aspect of hybrid traits. If someone with recessive hybrid genes experiences enough stress or their life is threatened, sometimes they present the way that they were meant to.
Maybe then, Techno will finally fit right in his body. And his family.

Technoblade is a fighter. Surviving in this world only by cutting down those around him with little regard for who they are.
It is what makes him useful. And he’s only survived this long by being useful.
His handlers tell him that it is almost as if he was born to fight. The voices tell him that he was.
They tell him a lot of things, but that’s the one that has always made the most sense to him. Fighting has been a constant in his life, ever since he entered this world. It’s only natural that it’s his entire purpose. Techno thinks that makes sense.
Techno doesn’t remember much of before.
Now, he fights. That’s all he’s good for. If he’s not winning, he’s not useful. If he’s not useful, he’s not alive. It’s not the best, but it’s what he’s used to. It’s the mindset that’s allowed him to get this far, after all.
And then the Angel of Death shows up in the stands and ruins everything by caring.

Summary
When the conflict between Skyblock and the Antarctic Empire had dragged on long enough without showing any sign of either nation being defeated, a truce was struck. Skyblock agreed to stop its assaults and negotiate a peace treaty, and in return, the empire would do the same. To show goodwill, Skyblock would even go so far as to hand over its most competent general as a prisoner of war. That way, the Antarctic Empire would know the lengths they were willing to go to for a proper resolution.
Such were the circumstances that led to Phil taking custody of Technoblade: skilled warrior, revered tactician, and current political hostage.

The Antine and Arctic Empires have stood as long and strong as any other kingdom worth their weight in gold. Just as they always have been, they are ruled by the preordained royals. The near unlimited power of those on the throne. Technoblade, as the crown price of the Arctic Empire, knows those facts intimately. And he was quite looking forwards to the prospect of it as his father's health declined.
Until his father suddenly removed his status as the heir in favor of his uncle. And then immediately died. It makes the funeral quite the dreary event for Techno, to say the least.
Luckily, his compatriot, and arguable only friend, King Philza is there to offer him some perspective. And perhaps a path back to power, if in a unconventional and possibly fraud-filled way. If it's necessary to regain his crown, then Techno will say "I do."

The fake marriage au where Techno schemes his way into power, Phil gets to keep his secret girlfriend, and no one falls in love. Unless you count the love of friendship! And indescribable violence.

Summary
There's no part of Techno that wavers in his allegiance to the revolution. He's seen with his own two eyes, the death and destruction that the Antarctic Empire brings to all the places they annex. Experienced it first hand. Barely came out of it alive.
Nothing will stop Techno from bringing an end to the kingdom. And killing the tyrant king that rules it all.
King Philza doesn't doubt Techno's resolve when he sees the captured little rebel. The boy holds all the knowledge that they need to bring an end to the stubborn trifle of an insurgency, closed lipped and ready to die with it. But Phil also knows that children are easy to sway with the right motivation. Especially those that have been deprived of the best motivators: love and care.

He wakes up in the morning light, still curled on the kitchen floor, hot and shivering.
The brand is hot again, hot and swollen. Techno reaches around to touch it, but it’s not burning- it’s not- It’s sticky with pus and blood, which Techno knows to be a bad thing. He’s seen other gladiators with infected wounds- his almost never were, because Cassius didn’t want him weakened. But he knows what infection looks like, what it does to a person, the smell of it.

Things like all the reasons they left their parents' house to begin with. And how his twin brother, who he hasn't seen in years, still seems to hate him. The thought of it all is enough to leave him close to meltingdown, let alone actually getting on the plane to go there.

Cassius laughs. A harsh, ugly sound that makes Techno’s skin crawl. “Why would I let you go when you can be so useful to me?” He leans closer, the stink of cigarette smoke on his breath. “And you can. Be useful to me. No one has ever broken into my compound before.”
“I’m sorry,” Techno whimpers. “I’m sorry, I just wanted my brother back, we’ll leave you alone-”
“Oh, don’t be like that, kid.” Cassius runs a rough, thick hand through his hair. Techno shudders under the touch. “You’ll come around. But first… well, I can’t go givin’ people the idea that it’s okay to break in, you know? So there will have to be consequences.”
“Please.” Techno nearly sobs- does, at the sight of the knife and the glowing-hot thing Cassius takes from someone behind him. “Please, please, don’t-”
