The scrawny kid poking at his faulty smartwatch is Oma Kokichi. He is known as a nosey twerp for the most part. That doesn't sound unusual for a teenager, nevertheless the streets echo his name for a reason. And even online forums type it in capital letters. The stack of meat sporting an outdated hairstyle is Mondo Owada. Before you get the chance to see him, you'd have long been assaulted by an absolute ghoul of cologne haunting the room. The overdressed bozo with the melting makeup is their classmate, Tanaka Gundham. I won't sum him up based on assumptions, but all I know is that he's crazy enough to follow Oma around. I'd be surprised if he wasn't being blackmailed. Meanwhile the sheepish girl who lost a fight with a hairbrush is Tsumiki Mikan. She couldn't hurt a fly, let alone provide compelling blackmail material.

Essentially I was daydreaming when I thought up this scenario. It's going to follow the main cast of D2 and D1 from the canon events that happened after D3, so the cast of D2 leave to live on their own on an island, and the D1 cast reopen the school. The characters of DV3 also make an appearance in this, so I'll be following the fan theory that DV3 is an alternate universe where Ryota ended up using the hope hypnotizing video on the world. I'll be adding a lot of personal headcanons in this, so if something doesn't add up, take it as an alternate universe unfolding or whatever.
For obvious reasons, there will be mentions of suicide, murder, and other horrible things, so if you don't want to see stuff like that, don't read it please. Mental health comes first.

This is my first book; sorry if it's bad. This is part of a series of books that deal with me fixing events in universes to get a better ending. This one is for Danganronpa. Warnings: Major spoilers for the trilogy and Another Episode, Mentions of Blood, sharp objects, thoughts of dying, swearing, dirty jokes, LGBTQIA+ relationships, angst, possible smut, time travel, and confusing family trees. I will write a second book specifically for DRA and SDRA2. This book features characters from THH, SDR2, DRV3, and UDG. I did stray from the original games to fit my made-up universe better, and all the protagonists know the Chapter 2 development of every character from their game.
