Andie shifted in her seat, and with the movement, her entire demeanor changed, like she had turned into a totally different person. Her postured straightened, her shoulder set. She lifted her chin, her sea-green eyes studying him like she could see right through him. It reminded him of the first time he’d met her- someone who had seen far too much at too young an age, that had been forced to grow up far too fast, analyzing and watching, waiting to counter his next move.
Gone was the teenage girl he had come to know and love as his own in the last year and a half.
In her place was…a warrior. A soldier. A hero. A fifteen year old who was readying herself to lead armies and save the world. Sitting in front of him now was the Daughter of Poseidon. It was the most sure Paul had ever seen Andie.
And the most fatalistic.
AKA: A PJO rewrite/study in how character dynamics would change if Percy and Annabeth had been born as the opposite gender, while also fixing rr's weird timelines and adding in my own hc's (just because)

But no, the Fates decided to be bored and kidnap her, her friends, and some wannabe superhero's who jump around roof tops as daily life- and make them react to her life, all her trauma she had to relive (she didn't consent btw).
Now, Percy always knew the way she was made was weird. The first time she met her dad she asked who her birth mother was. Then, he revealed she actually had two dads and a mom (WTF!?). To be honest, she never asked about them again. Sally was her mom, not those supposed birth parents who gave her away. But for some reason, she always felt kind op empty inside. Like somebody important was missing...(Totally not her long lost twin brother)
