He loves it the most when her cheeks flush a deep red after they kiss, when her lips are plump and smudged and open as she catches her breath. He likes that it is him who makes her blush so much, and it is he who makes her feel so stunned and breathless, with her hair a mess because his hands had become very passionately entwined in it.
"Richard, are you listening to me?" She interrupts, stopping their movements to look at him.
"Sorry, I was thinking about something. What were you saying?" He responds, and she immediately continues her conversation, (he still doesn't understand what on earth she's talking about) but all he can think of is her. He gives the occasional nod, the 'Oh really?' and a hum, so she's content. It's a bit mean, really, but his mind is on better things - like telling her he loves her.

Snotlout batted his eyelashes. “‘Gosh Astrid, whatever you want!’” He said in a mocking, nasally tone. “You want me to cut off my other leg? Anything for you, My Lady!”
“You could make him your sex slave and he’d be down,” said Ruff.
The group looked at her in horror.
“What? We were talking about ridiculous scenarios here!”
“The only reason he doesn’t say no to me, is because he knows I’m right and he simply has no reason to! That, and when we were younger, he was scared of me.”
Snotlout crossed his arms. “Prove it. Get Hiccup to say no to you about something, and I’ll admit I was wrong.”
She frowned and poked him, taking his bait. “You know what Snotlout? I’ll play your little game. I’ll go and find Hiccup right now, and get him to say no to one of my requests. He will, because they’ll be ridiculous and unreasonable.”
“I bet 5 gold coins he doesn’t deny you a single thing all day.”
“Deal!”
