When Dumbledore leaves Harry upon the doorstep of No. 4 Privet Drive, he expects the boy to be picked up in the morning by his Aunt Petunia and taken in by the Dursley's to be raised away from not only the Wizarding World but from those who would teach him about the magic, history and politics his lineage demands.
What he doesn't expect is a middle-aged French Witch grieving the loss of her English husband to stumble upon a baby out in the cold and be moved to help him. By any means necessary.
He also doesn't expect her to be the Great Niece of Perenelle Flamel, or related to the deposed Queen of Magical France who lives in exile while engaged in a dirty tug-of-war for power against the French Ministry.
But then, Dumbledore always was a short-sighted man too fixated upon his own chess pieces to look beyond the board He's set up to play with.

Percy Jackson and his formerly adoptive, but still brother in all but blood Harry Evans-Jackson had to survive one more day at school before they could go back to camp, but it was not to be as Percy gets attacked by giants during PE and they hear something terrible is happening at camp.
Thalia's tree has been poisoned and the protection around camp Half-blood is fading with Chiron being blamed and banished for it. If they don't do something fast, monsters will overrun the only safe place demigods have. The only solution is to find the golden fleece across the sea of monsters.
Percy's also been having very strange dreams about Grover being in huge trouble and he'll stop at nothing to save his friend as he and Harry sneak onto the quest after getting a nudge from Hermes while technically not being invited as Grover was their very first friend
While all of that is going on, both Harry and Percy have to deal with changing relationships, new family members appearing and the knowledge that things will only get darker from now on

Since arriving at Camp Half-Blood, Danny hoped that he'd get at least a little break from the whole "My life is a nightmare because my parents hate me for existing and will rip me apart molecule by molecule the second I step into Amity and oh yeah I'm somehow half-god in addition to being a halfa? Somehow???" thing.
What Danny didn't count on was being the son of a god whose job may be compromised if he placed Danny's safety over it. Hence, no one can know (aside from Nico) until said god can prove to the Olympians otherwise. Unaware of all of this, Percy and Jason are dead-set on figuring out who Danny's godly parent is via various themed camp activities. For some reason...
Danny just hopes he survives the first few ideas on their list. Maybe at least five? Yeah, five is good. Danny could handle that. Hopefully, nothing bad will happen for any guesses after that.
