Summary
I wanted to experiment with a what if scenario where when Adam is choking Charlie, it goes on longer than we're shown, causing Charlie to weaken, initiating unconsciousness.
Lucifer arrives shortly after, going along with the storyline, however when Adam is punched and Charlie falls. Lucifer isn't quick enough to catch her and she hits her head.
A bad summary, I know. but I do hope you have a good read. The story bay also seem quite bad but I'll try and edit it over time!
(I also wanted to have more Charlie-centric stories that are involved with angst, I don't see much of it nor do I find anything revolving around Charlie herself. I think it'll be cool :). )

Mike let out another sob. He shouldn't do this, he knows he shouldn't do this, but yet...
He took a step closer and wrapped his arms around Will. Will's arms followed immediately, and soon enough they were one, just as they always had been. Mike sobbed, and Will gently carded a hand through his hair, he himself crying quietly.
"It's okay, Mike," he whispered as he rested his head in the crook of his best friend's neck.
Mike let out a shuddering laugh and he nodded.
"It's okay... it's okay," he repeated.
And he could've sworn with his whole heart, that he could feel El there too. Holding them both. Whispering.
"It's okay."
He was so certain of this that he didn't notice the bathroom light flicker.
