Summary
The first time it happens, Kidd thinks it's all just one weird ass dream.
One moment Akagami's attack slams into him, agony flaring in every fiber of his body, the next he opens his eyes back in his quarters in Wano and yeah, it's easy to blame it on too much booze.
It's a bit weird to see things happening just as they did in his dream, but he doesn't bother dwelling too much on it. Not when it's so fun to rile Trafalgar up, or when the midget falls for his taunting with amusing predictability.
It's only after they part ways that he starts to actually give it some thought. Because everything is identical to his dream and like it or not, that means the chances of actually encountering Akagami are high.
Hours later, as he slams in the mast again and feels darkness creeping at the corner of his eyes, he can't help but wonder if it actually wasn't all a dream to start with.
Three redoes and defeats later he's well and truly aware that no matter how much he’d hoped everything was a dream, he's actually stuck in a time loop that is getting frustrating progressively fast.

The strangers scoffed, features curling in disgust.

Which made sense because Calypso knew an Emperor had no reason to be on a rookie crew's submarine. But that did not explain why the other looked so much like Red Haired Shanks.
Shamrock was not sure why his Father had allowed Bonney to live when she was a bastard child with Figarland blood running through her veins. Her survival, however, meant that he could get to know her. Could bond with a potential sibling that did not renounce him the moment he met him like Shanks had done. The problem was, that she was dying and Vegapunk was an option Shamrock had no wish to pursue. Fortunately for him, the Ope-Ope no Mi's user was no longer lost.
Law would just want to know why he is suddenly being kidnapped by someone bearing an uncanny resemblance to an Emperor of the Sea.

The words echo in Ace's head like a mantra, inescapable and horrifying. Three words that are worse than anything Impel Down had thrown at him so far, worse than the jeers and the torture, worse than the seastone exhaustion and the knowledge of his impending death.
Gramps says the words with a finality that tells Ace he is not going to do anything, that he's not even going to try and help Lu' even if he is the baby of the family, even if he doesn't deserve this - even if he wasn't born with cursed blood in his veins.

“My little moping Anchor,” Shanks muttered fondly, petting the boy’s hair as Luffy snuggled closer to him on the figurehead and stared morosely at the wide expanse of the Sea. “Maybe we should work a bit on the way you word promises in the future, hmmm?”
“Torao is smart and he agreed to it. It’s not my fault,” the boy huffed, biting his lip in displeasure. He had forgotten. How could he have forgotten? Luffy had agreed with Torao that they would have to part until the time was right. He knew that someday they would meet again and then they would sail together and have all sorts of adventures. But not now; Torao had to build his crew and his bounty, while Luffy needed to spend as much time as he could with Ace and ‘Bo before his brothers ended up sailing on their own. Had to hide from the Marines still looking from them and stay safe. He couldn’t drag Torao and Cora-o and their crew in the type of danger that had already caused the destruction of Foosha.
But he had forgotten. This day was theirs back then. Theirs and theirs alone.
