This is a disaster.
Castiel wants to continue the expedition no matter the cost, but he can’t possibly do it alone. The papers and the maps of the previous crew are the most important thing to further the research of the wilderness in this area, further discoveries. Nobody has gone that far before. He needs to reach the findings before something happens to them and the invaluable information is lost and they're set back months, if not years.
Castiel is restless like the dogs in their sled. He needs to come up with a plan.
The plan comes to him.

Summary

Confronted with Dean Smith, Castiel begrudgingly tries to deal with the fact that he’s still alive and that he’s stuck with some strange Dean. (Worse yet, he might be developing feelings for this other man.)
But is Castiel the only one who slipped between the cracks between one world and another? And how and why did Castiel end up in Dean Smith’s apartment?
