"I am called Drone2217," the Codebug introduced, not unkindly. "2217 is what most of my brothers and sisters call me…"
"That isn't a name," Chance scoffed. "Even 007n7 just goes by Seven. Do you have something else you go by? And please don't just say Drone."
A small part of DRONE2217 felt offended, but they dismissed the feeling. It thought for a moment, drawing a blank. "I have never needed a name before, I haven't given it much thought…"
"That's because Codebugs ain't people," Builderman said. "They're pests. Flaws in code given humanoid form. Y'all just make yourselves look like Robloxians to appeal to emotion and mercy."
DRONE2217 winced, while Guest 1337's brows furrowed, the soldier taking a half-step forward, moving himself slightly between the Codebug and Admin. "Hey, I get that it sounds like you two have…history…but isn't that a bit harsh? They're clearly sapient."
Builderman shrugged, unsympathetic. "Like I said. Appeals to emotion and mercy."

“Heyy Pestie, I'm having a party tomorrow! Wanna come?” Pest groaned at the grating sound of Party Noob's voice as the obnoxiously-colorful Robloxian entered the Regretevator.
“What have I said the last fifty times you asked?” Pest couldn't—didn't care enough to—restrain himself from snapping the words, tail twitching irritably behind him. “For the last time, Poob, no. I'm not coming to your party, nor will I ever. All I have ever wanted you to do is leave me alone.” He shot the nastiest glare he could at the other, crossing his arms and huffing.

007n7 couldn't really point to a specific moment that led to this outcome. Didn't think he could if he tried.
"How did you sleep?" Elliot asked.
"I slept," 007n7 replied, shrugging one-shouldered. It was the truth, but Elliot knew by now what the underlying meaning was. 007n7 had slept, but not long and not well.
"Make sure to take it easy today," Elliot instructed, stern but laced with compassion. "Don't let C00lkidd run you ragged. He's old enough to understand boundaries. You just have to enforce them."

Summary
There's two new skeletons in the house.
Unfortunately not much of a surprise there, the machine kept malfunctioning and kept bringing in alternate versions of Sans and Papyruses into their universe. They were up to SIXTEEN SKELETONS, now eighteen with the two's newest arrival.
Except... there was something off about the new skeletons. 'Visor' and 'Chine'.
Sweet mercy above, these two brothers seemed to hate each other. They kept swearing at each other, calling each other names- Chine actually almost stabbed Visor! On purpose! What a toxic relationship! Even more so than Black and Mutt!
Or is it? Underneath their hateful facade, they do care for each other. In another very weird but unhealthy way... That's it, everyone was going to try and help these two, as well find out more about what happened to them in the past, why they were what they were and maybe find a little love along the way.
You and your brother never asked to become the alternate universe Sans and Papyrus you both created. But by fuck was it difficult to keep things together like this, now the AU Sans and Papyruses were trying to get close. Stars above have mercy on their SOULs.

This fic is so good! Usually I don't care much for inclusion of obscure AUs, but this one is so well fleshed (heh) out! Rather than being grating or obnoxiously forced I feel like I'm reading something fresh and new. I don't know Prosthesis AU Sans and Papyrus like I do Red, Blue, G, etc. And the lack of knowledge makes me desperate to learn more. I can't wait to see more updates!!

One of the best damn oneshots I've ever read, I think. Rereadability is definitely there! Reminds me of another Undertale fic with a similar concept, I think it was called 'The Letter'?
