Summary
Remus is chaotic, he does what he wants whenever he wants, and he loves it! He doesn't care that the other sides are disgusted by him, he doesn't care that Thomas hates him, and he really doesn't care that Janus seems to be pulling away to spend time with the others! Sure they've invited Remus to a few family things but their expressions show how uncomfortable they are, which they should be! That's his job, his purpose. He loves it. Really, he does! Why would he want to hang out with those party poopers anyway? They don't ever want to do something fun. So Remus has his own fun, and he does it anywhere at anytime. The others don't try and stop him, why would they? It was just Remus doing Remus things, that's all.
Or: Remus hurts himself all the time including in front of the others, but they assume that he doesn't feel the pain and just snap the injuries away. They assumed wrong. Remus is dealing with the internal conflict of what he really feels vs what he's "supposed" to feel and ignoring the fact that all of his injuries are healing slower and he "falls asleep" for longer after getting major injuries. The others however, are forced to find out how wrong they were and now have to figure out how to help.
