On Hiatus.
Izuku hates Aldera.
He hates the walls, the hallways, his old charred, broken desk, and the new spotless one they gave him after.
He hates the students, the principal, the awful teachers, and even the goddamn janitor.
And he hates that the only person he ever wanted to take with him when he left this place wants nothing to do with him.
“I hate you,” he whispers.
Katsuki doesn’t move. Doesn’t react. His eyes stay locked and dead, like Izuku isn’t even there.
Maybe he didn’t hear.
‘I hate you,’ he signs with shaking hands.
Still nothing.
Izuku looks down, away from those unfamiliar eyes, to the hand he held three weeks ago in the rain.
“I fucking hate you so much,” he whispers one last time, too soft for Katsuki to hear.
It wasn’t meant for him anyway.
He’s saying it for himself.
Maybe if he says it enough, it’ll stop being a lie
Or, a series of unseen moments that reveal a deeper, more heartbreaking bond between Izuku and Katsuki
