Hitoshi was always told he was no good. In foster care since he was four, sold to human traffickers at eight, surviving hell, it only ends when he finds himself once again about to be sold. The emerald eyes with viridian flecks, as bewitching as his quirk, unlock a hidden will in him that changes his life forever.
Mikan never knew love. Her mother hated her until she died, her father was indifferent and neglectful and school was a battlefield. Life didn't seem keen on giving her a break either, when kidnappers grabbed her on her way home from school. As she saw a purple haired boy act brazenly, an unfamiliar feeling of curiosity inspired her to help.
Or : Izuku, Hitoshi and Mikan escape together and become a family of vigilantes who give Aizawa a headache!

Efforts to capture the perpetrator have all come up empty, and they leave no trail or prediction as to where they'll strike next. Worse still, the killer's own abilities seem to be improving, adapting after every encounter with a hero who failed to take them down.
Midoriya Izuku has his own problems to deal with. He's got a handle on anxiety, mediocrity is just another path to tread, but tired is eternal, and about the only way he'd sum up his life ever.

Only when his quirk suddenly bursts into something of pure horror, something more than the word freak, Izuku wishes he swallowed those words.
Four year old Izuku feared the beasts bellow his mattress. He feared the monsters his mother tried to say didn’t exist.
