Alternatively: In which Rise!Raph can’t get a break from his brothers, not even in a different dimension, and they sort of adopt each other. The family tree is getting harder to explain!

Holy shit.
Was not expecting a Fic about Rise!Raph going to 2012!tmnt to be so. so emotionally exhausting to read but in like the best way possible? I stopped watching 2012tmnt because their whole family dynamics really irked me so to see this author rip splinters entire parenting foundation to the ground? *chefs kiss* Also to take a small gag in one episode and turn it into a character study on DID? Really creative! Also absolutely dining on all that Rise!raph softness throughout the Fic. I’m eating so well right now. -

Summary
Leonardo is dead.
Or, at least, he should be. Instead, he is floating within a colorful vortex that reminds him too much of his own portals. He tries not to think too much about it. But, eventually he is forced to when the vortex spits him out into a world that used to be his home, many, many years ago.
Or; the one where Future!Leo somehow managed to luck out on a one in a million mere millisecond chance of a freak glitch in the space-time continuum that sends him back into the present, where the Invasion has been successfully driven back. And it looks like it was a one-way ticket travel.
Obviously, everybody is So Very Normal about this.

F!Leo where he’s just a tired dad. Man’s need a solid eight hours but the ptsd/demons won’t let him have more then two. Love this Fic for the family dynamics. And then the gut punch of angst. A very enjoyable rollercoaster of emotions.

F!Leo where he’s a dum dum. You would think in his age he’d mature a bit and not make awful choices that are terrible for his mental health, but man’s is so determined to make himself miserable. I like this version of F!Leo all the same though. Author is very good at ripping my heart in half almost every chapter and I love it.
