She was wearing the black dress and purple robes that Wanda had last seen her- the real her- in, before she had been trapped within her own mind. Her hair was no longer in a fashionable, 50's bob, but hung loose and wild about her shoulders. She was looking down at Wanda with a sad smile.

It hasn’t slipped her attention, however, that for several excruciating days, she didn’t have the control to make that decision herself, and that’s why she comes back to the nowhere town in New Jersey where she was nearly killed several times over.
After all, the villain of the story is just Agnes, now, and she’s visibly delighted to have someone in her home.
