Summary
Wake up, make breakfast, go on a run, sleep, repeat. That had been Sprout’s routine for the past couple months. He honestly didn’t know when it started, but it didn’t feel like it’d change any time soon. It’d originally also included taking a shower, getting ready, cleaning his room, and making dinner, but those got removed once they started taking a lot of energy for him to do it. Thankfully, Cosmo and Ginger agreed to take over dinner for him. The shower and getting nice and ready returned briefly when he’d began dating Astro, but eventually he just couldn’t take it anymore and, after crying for around three hours under the shower stream, he just stopped doing it every day, maybe every week if he could bring himself to, which was getting harder and harder every time he woke up.

Summary
Well, Astro was beat. Last night’d been weird. He couldn’t get the feeling that someone was watching him off, but he couldn’t really get up to check because he had dreams to take care of. Though, in the morning, he decided not to think much about it. He had more important matters to deal with.
So he got up from his bed and made his way out of his room, yawning but smiling as he waved at Shelly and Vee who were passing by. And then made his way straight to the diner, knowing a certain someone would be there. He always was, and always for some reason with that stupid best friend of his. Whatever, it wasn’t like they were anything, really (And if they were, Astro could just take care of that himself as well).
As soon as he got to the diner floor (one of the many since, for some reason, there were a fuck ton…), a bunch of toons started greeting him. Most of them were the usual he always talked to, others like Blot, the holiday toons, and oddly enough, Dandy himself were a surprise. He made a mental note to talk to him later when he was done with his most important affair.

Summary
Astro felt tears forming in his eyes at Cosmo’s words, unable to choke back a sob as he turned to pull Sprout into a tight embrace. He wanted to help more, but it seemed this was going to be their life now. Just hope Sprout would wake up the next day. He didn’t want it to be this way, but what other choice did he have? This was all they had left.
Or Sprout gets a pulmonary edema (Fluids in his lungs, the fluid being ichor) and it gets so bad he esentially gets put down by being thrown into a random floor and Astro goes down with him.

Summary
Sprout had always had a bit of a crush in one of his fellow mains, good old Astro Novalite. He was kind, he was quiet, he was a nice listener, he was…everything he was not. He was his other half, the one to keep him in check so he wouldn’t snap at whoever was smart enough to get hurt under his watch. And he always wanted the feelings to be reciprocated, but he always expected otherwise. Astro deserved everything, and he had nothing. He was nothing. He was a mere baker with a savior complex, Astro deserved more than that. But he still tried. He confessed his feelings one time, and he was sure he got super lucky because Astro agreed to a date with him.
Or Sprout is insecure because he feels he's not good enough for Astro and Astro comforts him.

Summary
Gardenview Center, a place full of joy and laughter of children. It was perfect, really. Everyone could have the fun they desired, the toons enjoyed being with kids and teaching them things, and the parents could be sure their children were safe no matter what. It was a place of pure delight.
At least, it was for the show's cast. It was hard to have said fun when you were a discarded one. Always being told you'd be featured in a chapter but never actually appearing. Always being told you'd be taken out of your floor or room and never doing so. It wasn't as fun that way, but it was the life for those who didn't know what they were missing.
It was only a matter of time until it all fell apart...
