Summary
“Look, maybe… you just need to get that out of the way,” Mike suggests slowly, looking almost self-conscious now. “And I could help. If you want.”
Will feels his cheeks rising in temperature with each passing second.
“So you… you want to kiss me?”

Summary
Mike hates that goddamn necklace.
The thing is, he isn’t even being irrational; the material is cheap, and he’s certain that in the next few days, Will is going to have a greenish tinge stained to his porcelain neck.
It hasn’t happened yet. But it will.
“Why are you staring at my neck?” Will’s voice cuts into the silence, lips quirked in amusement. Mike forces himself to meet his best friend’s eyes, and as he often is these days, is rendered speechless.
“I– uh.” Mike looks around his bedroom, as if something in the piles of crap around the space is going to bring him inspiration. Max simply raises her eyebrows, and Lucas offers no help at all. “I thought I saw a bug?”
Silence. Max chews her lip to hold back laughter, and Mike’s fingers flex because he might throw Will’s sketchbook at her. Mike Wheeler knows a great many things, but understanding why this particular necklace is ruining his life is not one of them. The fact it's from Will's boyfriend is also irrelevant.- Language:

Summary
"I just wish I could be alone with you"
There, he had said it. He had dropped the bombshell. There was no turning back now, now he just had to go forward.
[...]
"We are alone now"
Mike wished he could have turned around and looked into his eyes, he wished he could have admired his expression at that moment. Will's breath against his own neck did not make him think straight; he had to try to regain his train of thought before letting words escape his own lips.
"Not enough"or Will spends time at the Wheeler house and Mike tries to understand why hiding his feelings doesn't work.

Summary
He’s nervous, Will can see it in his eyes, the quiver of his lips. The lips that are so close he can feel their breath on his own. He almost lets himself take, but then he realizes where he is, and who he is.
“Wait—“ Will stumbles back.
Mike pulls back like he’s just been shot, “What?”
“What are you—Were you about to kiss me?”
“Sorry. I’m sorry, I should’ve asked. I just—We’ve been dating for weeks and—“
“What?” Will almost shrieks out.
Or, Mike thinks they’re dating and Will is just trying to survive.

Summary
The second year of college was supposed to be simple—shared apartments, late-night talks, the kind of quiet normalcy they’d fought so hard to earn.
Mike and Will have always been inseparable. They are roommates now, like it was always meant to be. Like nothing could touch them anymore.
Except something has.
Will has been seeing someone—Andrew—for two years. And somehow, Mike knows nothing about the guy. At least not in the ways that matter. Not in the way Will tells him everything else.
At first, it was just small things. A hesitation, a flinch, the way Will would go quiet whenever Andrew’s name came up—if it came up at all. Then there's the unexplained bruises, the tension in every stolen glance, the avoidance, and the way Will seems to shrink into himself when Andrew is near.
Mike can feel it, something is wrong.
Will has always needed Mike. That’s never changed. But now, whatever he’s hiding is pulling him under—and Mike might be the only one who can see it happening.
The only one who can stop it.
If Will lets him.
