Steve is starting to feel like his life is just one disaster after another. He didn't mean to make friends with Eddie Munson along the way, but for some reason he's always there, and if anyone knows how to get up again after being knocked down then it's him.

Steve just wanted to do something nice for a friend, he doesn't mean to get Eddie's ring stuck on his finger, and it's definitely not his fault that everyone he knows is jumping to conclusions.

    Summary

They’re down three members, because Doug and Ronnie graduated, and Frank’s been noncommittal since managing to drag himself out of bed, so it’s not like Eddie can tell Robin to get lost.

It’s not like he wants to, either, which is a thing, because Robin hates metal, but is apparently some kind of music savant. She moans about callouses and her fingers bleeding, but the fucking voice on her, Christ. It only takes her to mid-September to learn a good chunk of their set list. Jeff looks at her like she’s hung the moon. She keeps trying to convince them to learn “Our Lips Are Sealed.” She refuses to join Hellfire. She’s always late to practice because of marching band, and some time in the beginning of October Steve Harrington drops her off.

    Or –

In the fall of 1984, Robin joins Corroded Coffin, and Eddie gets more than he bargained for.

    Or –

A season 2 AU with Robin and Eddie.

    Summary

“Which of you morons,” she hisses, “let Eddie log into twitter today?”
    Eddie blinks.
    “How do you-”
“Because, Eddie- you commented using the band account. You logged in on our official socials.”
Eddie stares at her dumbly. Then-
    “Oh fuck.”
    “Yes,” she agrees. “Oh fuck.”
“I’ll- delete that, then,” he laughs nervously. “Before-”
“Before someone picks up on it, screenshots it, begins distributing it across the internet at a frankly alarming pace and starts a series of hashtags up in an effort to find the ‘pretty boy’ gardener you were lusting over?”

    ---

Eddie is a burnt-out-overworked-crash-and-burn-rockstar with a crippling twitter addiction. Steve is a chronically-offline-homegrown-indiana-boy-flowershop-owner with a green thumb and a penchant for taking in strays.
So naturally when Eddie first sees him, he's head over heels. And Steve has no clue what his day job is.
He'll tell Steve about his 'real' identity before things go too far- right?

wild, wild horses (couldn't drag me away) by m4zzyst4r (cinematicghibli) (WorkID: 72929776)

Summary: Steve is so so red now- doesn’t think he could speak if asked- starstruck isn’t covering this experience. Heart attack might cover it, in the loosest sense of the term.

Eddie leans down, smiles at Steve like a fucking shark- flutters the bandana in front of him.

“Come on,” he says in a low voice- he’s mic’d, Steve realises, they can all hear him. “Come and get it, big boy.”

Robin gives Steve a long, considering look. Finally, she says, “You know, you’re really fucking weird, right? I mean. Like,” she waves a hand, “I wish I knew this when you were in school, Harrington. You’re just really fucking weird.”

    “Thanks?”

Robin squeezes his shoulder and says, “I appreciate that you think that’s a compliment.”

    Or-

In the summer of ’85, Steve works at Scoops Ahoy, fights some Russians, and makes some new friends.
